Great book! The information in this book is still valid today in these times of a black president and some type of " post racial reality". Many may believe that the past should be just that the past. But, history teaches use that if we do not know and understand the past we will most definitely and most certainly will repeat it in a grand fashion.Thought for food!

Southern Horrors Lynch Law in All Its Phases edition by Ida B WellsBarnett Politics Social Sciences eBooks Reviews
Interesting read and snapshot of what was going on during the period. Well written plea for African Americans to start using the tools at their disposal to stand up against the lynching laws.
The south was full of turmoil and this book has a lot to tell in a small format. Recommended for a history buff
This story was free for , which is how I came to read it. I enjoyed the read and thank the author for her generosity.
We flinch, we should, but it doesn't absolve any Americans from facing truth. Our history must be learned. Horrific or not.
As high as is possible. Necessary. Tireless and unrelenting was Ida B. Wells.
In 1892, Ida B. Wells spoke prophetic truth against the vile hypocrisy of lynching and justice applied unequally to people based on the color of their skin. In 2015, her words are still relevant.
Very deep book that opens more discussions that can be handled. Shows the ignorance of people and the primitive nature of humans. Hatred over skin color is hilariously ridiculous. I'm sorry to those who faced this and thank them for their bravery and endurance. Some of the dialogue and punctuation were off but can be understood for the most part. That's why I gave it 3 stars. 5 stars for the truth
