While this entire story was so unlikely, it bordered on ridiculous, I had a fun time reading it. Trevor Lord was, to me, the most unbelievable. In his mid-forties he basically had no refractory period at all. Reed had some rather amazing healing powers since he could be spanked brutally several times in succession but only feel a little sore minutes afterward.
Despite this, I had fun reading this book and found the characters to be relatable & interesting...and the sex scenes were very hot.
Reed is a college student renting from a married couple. When the couple decides to divorce, Reed is left dealing with the rough and tumble, retired military husband as his landlord, Mr. Lord. When Reed is late with his rent, Mr. Lord starts a relationship of dom/sub with Reed that is mutually satisfying to each of them. They encounter difficulties with friends and family members, but ultimately, their personal relationship is what sustains them. The way the writer presented the story, I never felt Reed was ever a victim. It was clear that he fully participated and agreed with the games and play that the two embraced. What happens between two consenting adults should be their own business as long as no one is harmed. I liked this story and will check out other offerings by this writer.
Wow..this is a HOT book. Smokin sexy scenes wow, contents include bondage to foot fetish and lots of hot spankings. Keep reading and it becomes a real crescendo at the ending with a few twisting surprises. Talk about being tied up in wrong situations or should say caught in. lol Reed and Trevor are explosive is only thing i could say about them. Oh and the huge age difference between these guys fantastic love reading age gap stories.
Reed was a struggling 21 yr Uni student with no money to pay his rent. He was definitely in a bind..lol
Maggie and Trevor, Reed's landlords marriage was busting up. Trevor 44 yrs was former military always liked giving out orders.. Ooh you gotta watch out for the ending.. love it. This might be a new favorite of Keegan's.
